What are we about?

As volunteer pet photographers, we don't often get the opportunity to connect with our fellow photographers or other volunteer members.  Shannon Sullivan and Jim McCook will be spearheading this totally free website. To help us draw together, we need your ideas and feedback and participation to help fine tune the Pawztive Prints Website.

What is our purpose?

As volunteer photographers, we know taking pictures of pets is both fun and challenging. Mostly because the animals are always moving and they usually don’t pose for you, so you have to move with them to catch them in action. Many times all of us do get a great photo “the money shot” (LOL) only to see it lost before its posted, due to adoptions, etc.  Yes we all are very happy when any of our babies get adopted out & that's our goal!  We know in our hearts that every photo counts.

But what a shame to see all the photos disappear after a furry friend moves on to his/her forever home. Also many of us photographers never get an opportunity to meet each other. So, we were thinking why not put our photos on-line to share not only with each other, but to let all of our pet-loving friends and the world enjoy them too. This way we get to recognize each other and learn a little about each of us. Up the road we may adopt more ideas and avenues to better serve and enhance our experience as volunteers. The more of us that come aboard, the more others will join too. It’s all about the animals and that is something we all are passionate about!
