Volunteering at the SPCA Tampa Bay has changed my life - in so many wonderful ways.  I became an active volunteer in 2005 as a Canine Counselor & Family Dog Trainer.  Since then, I've become involved in the Disaster Animal Response Team, the Foster Parent Program & Web Photography, just to list a few.  

My husband & I have adopted our last 4 dogs from the SPCA Tampa Bay (3 of them were fosters) & they have enriched our lives beyond measure.  We especially enjoy fostering puppies & dogs & giving them a good start toward their forever homes.
My favorite part of volunteering at the shelter is working with the shy or scared dogs - helping them become acclimated to the environment so they can show their true personalities & be adopted.
The staff & volunteers at the SPCA Tampa Bay are terrific people & I'm honored to call them my friends
